Desert pyramids hide four chests in a trapped basement, and their loot — diamonds, enchanted books, horse armour — is some of the strongest you can get in the first hour. The map finds the pyramids around spawn so you know which direction to walk.

• There is a pressure plate over TNT under the floor. Break the plate first, or dig in from the side wall.
• Pyramids only generate in desert biomes, so a seed spawning you in a large desert usually has several within reach.
