Blaze rods only come from blaze spawners, and blaze spawners only come from nether fortresses — every End run goes through one. The map shows where the fortresses sit so you can pick a portal spot that lands you near one.

• Fortresses generate in long north–south strips; if you are on the wrong strip, travelling east or west finds one faster than wandering.
• A fortress close to a bastion is the ideal speedrun start — rods and gold trades within one trip.
